Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have uncovered illicit drugs hidden in tins of Cerelac baby food.<\/p>\n

Femi Babafemi, the agency’s director of media and advocacy, revealed this in videos that were posted on X.com on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot even tins of Cerelac baby food are spared in their desperation to conceal and export illicit drugs,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Babafemi took the opportunity to caution citizens to exercise caution when accepting packages from others while traveling, despite the fact that the location of the operation and the identity of the suspect or suspects involved were kept under wraps.<\/p>\n

In addition, he emphasized the dangers of inadvertently transporting illicit substances and reminded the public that doing so is punishable by a 15-year prison sentence.<\/p>\n

Babafemi added, \u201cThis is why we warn people never to accept any package of unknown content from anyone when travelling. Remember, possession means 15 years in jail! Seizures by #ndlea_nigeria.\u201d<\/p>\n
