The Police Service Commission (PSC) announced on Thursday, August 8, that training for successful candidates from the 2022 police recruitment will commence on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at various Police colleges nationwide.<\/p>\n
According to the PSC, the training will take place from August 10 to August 20.<\/p>\n
Ikechukwu Ani, the PSC’s head of press and public relations, stated in a statement that candidates are expected to report for training if they verified their status on the Police Recruitment Portal (https:\/\/apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng).<\/p>\n
Ani said: \u201cThe names of the candidates are already with the Management of the Colleges and will only admit persons whose names are on the list.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Commission wishes to state that it has rested the previous Portal, www.policeservicecommission.cloud where names were initially released after an elaborate meeting with the Police Management and where it was agreed that the Portal used from the beginning of the exercise should be sustained till the end to ensure fairness, justice and inclusivity in the recruitment process.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnly candidates whose names appeared on the agreed Portal or who received official messages inviting him\/her to report at the Colleges will be allowed for the training.<\/p>\n
\u201cMessages are currently being sent to successful candidates including Specialists who are to report for training between the 28th of September and 10th of October, 2024\u201d.<\/p>\n
The candidates should make sure they report to the colleges on the precise dates that are required of them, according to PSC Chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu.<\/p>\n
In order to make sure they graduate from the training colleges fully equipped to serve their country and aid in the effort to save it from terrorism and banditry, he said the Commission will keep an eye on their progress.<\/p>\n
Argungu announced that Commission employees would be dispatched to the colleges to keep an eye on students’ behavior and attitude toward the training.<\/p>\n
The head of the PSC gave the assurance that the Commission will keep creating an environment that allows them to give the Nigerian people their all.<\/p>\n
He congratulated them on their achievements during the recruitment process and urged them to dedicate themselves fully to the training so that by the time it was over, they would have become better versions of themselves and be prepared for the challenges that awaited them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
