After an eight-day suspension, Arik Air has resumed its scheduled flights following the grounding of its operations by the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).<\/strong><\/p>\n

This action was taken in line with a Supreme Court ruling.<\/p>\n

The airline confirmed the resumption of services on Thursday, with its CEO, Capt. Roy Ilegbodu, noting that during the pause, efforts were focused on ensuring a smooth return to service.<\/p>\n

Arik Air has expressed its readiness to serve passengers again, emphasizing improvements in the overall travel experience.<\/p>\n

The airline was originally grounded on July 31, 2024, due to a $2.5 million debt, as directed by the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development and NAMA.<\/p>\n

Three of Arik Air\u2019s aircraft, including a Boeing 737-700, a Boeing 737-800, and a DASH8-Q400, were affected by the ruling.<\/p>\n
