The Lagos State government has launched a distribution initiative of 20,000 food packages intended to alleviate hardships.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The programme, starting at the Lagos State Auditorium in Alausa, Ikeja, is overseen by the Ministry of Home Affairs.<\/p>\n

These packages, which include 10kg of rice, 5kg of beans, and 5kg of cassava flakes (garri), are being allocated to various religious groups.<\/p>\n

Muslim communities will receive their share, while 10,000 packages will be distributed to Christian organizations.<\/p>\n

The state’s efforts aim to support less-privileged residents, with distribution managed by local associations such as Community Development Associations and Committees.<\/p>\n

“This palliative is an intervention to support the less-privileged in the society.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt cuts across all sectors of the state. We came to the auditorium because we wanted a centralised location.<\/p>\n
