Munachimso Nwana, a 22-year-old content creator and food consultant, has set a new world record by visiting 150 fast-food restaurants in just 24 hours.<\/p>\n

The attempt to break the record, which was set by American YouTuber Airrack last year with 100 restaurants, was made in Abuja.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the Guinness World Records website revealed that Brian’s trip started at Chicken Republic in the Gwarinpa neighborhood and ended at Kilimanjaro in the city center.<\/p>\n

Since private transportation is not allowed for this record attempt, he walked more than 25 kilometers during his challenge.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the experience, Brian said, \u201cNew York has clusters of restaurants and adequate public transportation systems, so doing this in Abuja was much more daunting and challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

Brian had to buy and consume at least one food or drink item at each establishment in order to meet the record’s requirements, with at least 75 percent of his orders having to be for food.<\/p>\n

He tried a variety of foods, including burgers, pizza, fried chicken, shawarma, and moin moin, a bean pudding, which is one of his favorite Nigerian treats (a swallow food).<\/p>\n

Even with so much food consumed, Brian made sure that nothing went to waste by having his staff and the general public share in the leftover meals.<\/p>\n

Brian took on this challenge with the intention of showcasing the richness of Nigerian cuisine as well as the diversity of Abuja’s restaurant scene.<\/p>\n
