The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has taken action by sealing four filling stations and two gas plants in Eket, Akwaibom State.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This measure was taken due to the failure to renew licenses and inadequate maintenance.<\/p>\n

Ikechukwu Eseka, the NMDPRA Coordinator, disclosed this during an inspection of petrol stations in Uyo on Friday.<\/p>\n

The sealing actions, which were specifically targeted at facilities in Uyo, were prompted by issues related to expired licenses and poor maintenance practices.<\/p>\n

Eseka issued a warning to marketers about the risks of under-dispensing, hoarding, or diverting petroleum products.<\/p>\n
