The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has labeled Yahaya Bello, former Governor of Kogi State, as a fugitive and issued an order for his immediate arrest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This decision follows unsuccessful attempts to locate him and his ongoing evasion of capture.<\/p>\n

Yahaya Bello is facing serious allegations including money laundering, breach of trust, and misappropriation of 80.2 billion naira during his term in office.<\/p>\n

Despite efforts by the EFCC to bring him in, Bello\u2019s current location remains unknown.<\/p>\n

In an update from EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, the commission is working in coordination with both national and international law enforcement agencies to secure his arrest. <\/p>\n

This move follows a recent Court of Appeal ruling in Abuja, which mandated Bello’s appearance for arraignment on corruption charges.<\/p>\n
