The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has emphasized that maintaining national security is a collective effort, encouraging all Nigerians to actively participate by sharing vital information that could aid security agencies.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This call to action was made on Saturday in Abuja during the 48th Annual National Conference of the Muslim Elders Association of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The event, themed \u201cMaking Living Worthwhile For All: Islamic Solutions to Economic and Security Challenges,\u201d focused on how Islamic principles can be applied to address the country’s ongoing economic and security issues.<\/p>\n

The Muslim Elders Association of Nigeria, known for its dedication to promoting peace, brotherhood, leadership values, education, and humanitarian efforts, organized the conference.<\/p>\n

Represented by Major General Shuab Bashir, General Musa stressed the necessity of cooperation between the public and security forces. He noted that security agencies cannot single-handedly address the nation\u2019s security challenges and urged citizens to contribute by providing valuable information.<\/p>\n

Mr. Uba Alkali, representing the Police Commissioner in the Federal Capital Territory, also reiterated that effective security requires the collective effort of all citizens.<\/p>\n
