The Lagos State government has arrested 20 individuals caught engaging in open defecation.<\/p>\n

Tokunbo Wahab, the state commissioner of environment and water resources, declared the crackdown on X.com on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cOpen Defecation, During patrol and monitoring of Ojodu \u2013 Berger yesterday night and early hours of today, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps #LAGESCOfficial arrested 20 individuals for committing environmental infractions,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

The state government is working to keep the environment cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable for its citizens, and one aspect of that work is its zero-tolerance policy on open defecation.<\/div>\n
