Gombe State workers can expect to begin receiving the newly approved N70,000 minimum wage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is according to the state’s Deputy Governor, Manassah Jatau.<\/p>\n

The state government is finalizing the necessary arrangements to ensure the implementation of this wage increase.<\/p>\n

Jatau, who leads the Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage negotiation for Gombe State, indicated that the administration is committed to enhancing the welfare of its civil servants.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Governor, represented by the state’s Head of Service, Ahmed Abdullahi, emphasized Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s dedication to implementing the new minimum wage.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, workers will continue to receive a N10,000 wage award until the full implementation of the minimum wage.<\/p>\n

This interim payment will cease once the new wage structure is in place.<\/p>\n
