This has caused tension in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The assassination happened on Monday along Chevron Drive, close to Ebano Supermarket, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the gravity of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>The tension brought on by the killing is causing people to leave the community.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, a notice from the community&#8217;s estate management confirmed the incident and urged the locals to stay away from the Agungi, Ajiran, and Chevron areas.<\/p>\n<p>The statement read, \u201cThis is to notify all residents that Ajiran (Agungi) king\u2019s son was assassinated today along Chevron Drive (close to Ebano Supermarket) this morning.<\/p>\n<div class=\"read-also\">\n<p>\u201cWe therefore plead to our esteemed residents to avoid Chevron area, Agungi and Ajiran for now for their safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When contacted, Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, stated he was unaware of the situation and promised to update our correspondent as soon as he received it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not aware, I will contact you once I\u2019m privy to the information,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Details later\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first son of Ojomu of Ajiran land, Tijani Akinloye, Demola, was shot and killed by gunmen in the Ajiran community of Agungi Area, Lekki, Lagos State.
