{"id":144175,"date":"2024-08-27T20:02:16","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T19:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsdigest.ng\/?p=144175"},"modified":"2024-08-27T20:02:16","modified_gmt":"2024-08-27T19:02:16","slug":"nigerians-repatriated-libya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepublicpulse.ng\/?p=144175","title":{"rendered":"171 Nigerians Repatriated From Libya"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A total of 171 Nigerians were successfully repatriated from Libya on August 27, 2024. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) coordinated their arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, around 7:50 PM. <\/p>\n<p>The returnees arrived on an Al-Buraq airline flight, a Boeing 737-500, with registration number 5A-DMG. <\/p>\n<p>This group included 41 women, 115 men, 1 female child, 6 male children, and 8 infants (4 boys and 4 girls). No medical issues were reported among the returnees.<\/p>\n<p>NEMA&#8217;s Lagos Territorial Office, alongside other agencies such as the Nigeria Immigration Service, IOM, and NAPTIP, were present to offer necessary assistance to the returnees. <\/p>\n<p>Following their arrival, the returnees will participate in a reintegration program at the Lagos Transit Camp.<\/p>\n<p> This programme includes basic business skills training, counseling, and medical support before they return to their respective homes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 171 Nigerians were successfully repatriated from Libya on August 27, 2024.
