The new Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, MON, officially took office on August 28, 2024.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was welcomed by the former Director General, Alhaji Yusuf Magaji Bichi, CFR, fwc, who briefed him on important matters.<\/p>\n

They both reminisced about their past work together and expressed mutual respect and admiration.<\/p>\n

During a meeting with the management and staff, the former DG urged everyone to support Mr. Ajayi in his new role.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ajayi emphasized the need for unity among the staff and encouraged them to stay disciplined and professional in their duties.<\/p>\n

He promised to work with all relevant stakeholders with a strong sense of responsibility to address the challenges facing Nigeria, especially in economic, political, and security areas.<\/p>\n

His goal is to achieve the peace and stability needed for the country\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

A key moment of the event was when the former DG handed over the Service flag and other symbols of office to Mr. Ajayi.<\/p>\n

Afterward, Mr. Ajayi toured the National Headquarters, visiting different sections and encouraging staff to remain vigilant, dedicated, and loyal to the Service and the nation.<\/p>\n
