Award-winning cinematographer and music producer TG Omori, also known as ThankGod Omori, has responded to allegations that his colleagues in the music industry did not offer financial support during his recent health crisis.<\/p>\n

On August 26, Omori, who has been fighting renal disease, had a transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos. Omori disclosed that the transplant failed despite undergoing three surgeries.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Singer Portable stirred up controversy when he criticized celebrities for not supporting Omori’s medical care and compared it to donations given to Bobrisky, who was imprisoned for currency abuse.<\/p>\n

Portable described the music industry\u2019s unity as \u201cfake.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cTG Omori has a kidney problem and celebrities are not donating money or kidneys for him.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cBut Victor Osimhen and others donated money for Bobrisky who has no value. The industry is full of fake love.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, TG Omori on X.com on Sunday revealed that he had received support from industry colleagues and friends even before his health issues became public.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cAll I needed was your prayers, moral support, and love. This I am grateful to have gotten in abundance.<\/p>\n
