{"id":145278,"date":"2024-10-24T12:11:27","date_gmt":"2024-10-24T11:11:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepublicpulse.ng\/?p=145278"},"modified":"2024-10-24T12:11:27","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T11:11:27","slug":"ogun-cleric-in-police-custody-for-defiling-12-year-old","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepublicpulse.ng\/?p=145278","title":{"rendered":"Ogun cleric in police custody for defiling 12-year-old"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ogun cleric in police custody for defiling 12-year-old<\/p>\n<p>The Ogun State Police Command on Thursday said its operatives have arrested one Alfa Jubril Dalamun, residing at No. 8 Imososi Street in Ago Iwoye for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl (name withheld).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The spokesperson for the state police command, Omolola Odutola, disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Odutola explained that on October 22, 2024, the Divisional Police Officer received a report of a sexual assault involving a minor at 9:40 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The PPRO said, \u201cA resident of Adekoja Street in Abobi Ago Iwoye, accompanied her 12-year-old daughter to report at the station.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cShe reported that on Saturday, October 19, 2024, around 1:00 p.m., a 39-year-old man, Alfa Jubril Dalamun, residing at No. 8 Imososi Street in Ago Iwoye, had forcibly assaulted and defiled her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe victim was taken to Love and Care Hospital in Ago Iwoye for medical examination and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe crime scene was visited, the suspect was arrested, and he has been brought to the police station.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Odutola noted that the case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further inquiry and appropriate\u00a0investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ogun cleric in police custody for defiling 12-year-old The Ogun State Police Command on Thursday said its operatives have arrested one Alfa Jubril Dalamun, residing at No. 8 Imososi Street in Ago Iwoye for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl (name withheld).
