President Tinubu Approves Redeployment of 4 Federal Permanent Secretaries<\/p>\n
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the redeployment of four Federal Permanent Secretaries.<\/p>\n
According to a statement signed by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Information & Public Relations, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, on behalf of the Head of Service, Mrs. Didi Waston-Jack, the redeployment aims to strengthen the operations of the Federal Civil Service and enhance its efficiency and service delivery.<\/p>\n
The statement further noted that the reassignment is part of continuous efforts to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and strengthen service delivery across the Federal Civil Service, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.<\/p>\n
The affected Permanent Secretaries and their new postings are as follows:<\/p>\n
1. Dr. Mary Ada Ogbe \u2013 From the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development to the Ministry of Regional Development, where she will understudy the Permanent Secretary retiring on May 7, 2025.
\n2. Engr. Faruk Yusuf Yabo \u2013 From the Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy to the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development.
\n3. Dr. Emeka Vitalis Obi \u2013 From the Ministry of Budget & Economic Development to the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
\n4. Mr. Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam \u2013 From the Special Duties Office, OHCSF, to the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation emphasized that the redeployment is a routine administrative process designed to reinvigorate the Civil Service by leveraging the expertise of top officials in critical sectors.<\/p>\n
She urged the affected Permanent Secretaries to bring their wealth of experience to their new roles, ensuring seamless service delivery and sustained progress in their respective ministries, adding that all handover and taking-over processes are to be completed on or before May 2, 2025.<\/p>\n
