Gombe Floods Claim Four Lives, Police Call for Public Caution<\/p>\n
The Gombe State Police Command has confirmed the death of at least four persons in recent flooding incidents across three local government areas of the State, leading to an urgent call for increased public awareness and safety.<\/p>\n
According to Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, most of the victims were children and young individuals who drowned in rivers, erosion sites, and open drainage channels following heavy rainfall.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese unfortunate incidents have brought to light the urgent need for increased public awareness and preventive action,\u201d Abdullahi stated.<\/p>\n
