Bandits Abduct Naval Officer, Family in Kaduna<\/p>\n
Armed bandits have abducted a naval officer and members of his family in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, August 20, 2025, when gunmen invaded Unguwan Mission, Kachia, at about 2:00 a.m. and whisked away Seaman Olatunji Enoch, 40, of the Nigerian Navy, who is attached to NNSAT Kachia.<\/p>\n
The attackers also abducted his wife, Margaret Olatunji, 25, and their 13-year-old daughter, Hellen Bitrus, during the raid.<\/p>\n
Security agencies have since launched a manhunt for the perpetrators, with cordon-and-search operations ongoing in surrounding forests and communities. Authorities said the operation is aimed at ensuring the safe rescue of the victims without harm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
