DSS Arrests Two Suspects in Over Fake Recruitment Kaduna<\/p>\n
The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two suspects in Kaduna for allegedly running a fraudulent recruitment syndicate in the name of the agency.<\/p>\n
The suspects, identified as Aliyu Ibrahim and an accomplice, were picked up following credible intelligence that exposed their network, security sources confirmed.<\/p>\n
Preliminary investigations revealed that the syndicate may have duped between 250 and 350 unsuspecting job seekers with false promises of employment into the DSS.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cThe suspects are currently in custody while efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the syndicate still at large,\u201d a source disclosed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Service warned Nigerians to beware of fraudulent recruitment offers, stressing that it does not engage agents or intermediaries for its hiring process.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cAll DSS recruitment exercises are announced exclusively through official and authorised communication channels,\u201d the Service reiterated.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It further urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest security agency, assuring that it would continue to safeguard citizens and bring perpetrators of such crimes to justice.<\/p>\n

The arrests come amid rising cases of job racketeering across the country, where desperate job seekers fall victim to fraudsters exploiting the high unemployment rate.<\/p>\n
