HCSF Rounds Off Staff Engagement, Tasks Directors on Mentorship, Leadership<\/p>\n
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Mr. Olumuyiwa Abel, has concluded his staff interaction series with an engagement with Directorate-level Officers on Grade Levels 15\u201317, charging them to provide purposeful leadership and strengthen mentorship in the Service.<\/p>\n
The session, held at the OHCSF Conference Room, Abuja, was aimed at aligning strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda.<\/p>\n
Addressing the officers, Mr. Abel described the Directorate cadre as the critical link between policy formulation and implementation. He urged them to mentor younger officers and promote a culture of accountability, innovation and excellence.<\/p>\n
The HCSF stressed the need for continuous learning and self-development, noting that strong institutions are sustained not only by sound policies but by leaders committed to developing people and ensuring professionalism in service delivery.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office, OHCSF, Dr. Danjuma Usman Kalba, said the HCSF’s direct engagement demonstrated inclusive leadership and open communication, providing an opportunity for officers to share perspectives on operational challenges.<\/p>\n
Also speaking, the Director, Human Resources Management and Administration, Mrs. Jennifer Sharang, appreciated the HCSF for the engagement and reaffirmed the commitment of Directors to a responsive, productive and people-centred Civil Service.<\/p>\n
