Tino Anjorin has finalized a permanent move to Empoli, joining the Serie A club from Chelsea.
Anjorin began training with Chelsea at the age of six, and according to a post on the club’s website on Thursday, he officially signed as an under-9 and advanced through the Cobham Academy.
In November 2018, Tino secured his initial professional contract and advanced to the Under-21 team in time for the 2019–20 campaign.
The midfielder had an outstanding season, making his Premier League debut against Everton, his senior debut against Grimsby Town, and a Premier League Two victory with the Under-21s.
“Tino was involved in several match-day squads throughout the following season, making his Champions League debut and full Premier League debut, and then embarked on several loan spells.
“We would like to thank Tino for all his efforts while at the club and wish him well as he begins the next chapter in his career,” Chelsea Football Club added.
