The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has reported the disappearance of two of its officers.
According to a statement from Eddy Megwa, Director of Information and Public Relations, the officers vanished while travelling on the Onitsha to Owerri Road on Monday, July 29, 2024.
The missing individuals are Mr. Okun Christopher, the NYSC Akwa-Ibom State Coordinator, and his driver, Mr. Daniel Effiong Asibong.
They were en route to Uyo, Akwa-Ibom, in a white official Hilux vehicle with the registration number 27D31FG when they were last heard from.
Despite extensive efforts, their location remains unknown. The NYSC is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in locating them.
People with relevant details are urged to contact any of the 37 NYSC State Secretariats, Area Offices, the National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, or the nearest police station or security agency.
