Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has achieved a major milestone by being awarded a Doctorate degree following the successful completion of his Viva Voce, an essential part of the PhD process.
This oral examination, where candidates defend their research thesis before a panel of experts, was completed without any amendments or corrections required for Sanusi’s thesis.
The news was shared by Kadaria Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of RadioNow 95.3FM, on her Facebook page.
She expressed her excitement, noting that Sanusi’s PhD was approved as submitted, and joined in congratulating him on this achievement.
The former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor was recently reinstated as Emir of Kano by Governor Abba Yusuf, having been dethroned in 2020 by the previous governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
