Napoli has successfully negotiated a one-year loan agreement with Galatasaray for Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, following a dramatic transfer saga.
The Nigerian international was unable to complete a transfer deal to Chelsea just before the transfer window in England closed and subsequently missed out on a move to Saudi Arabian team, Al-Hilal.
After missing out on moves to Chelsea and Al-Hilal, Osimhen is poised to join Galatasaray on a straight loan deal, with the Turkish club covering £10m of his salary.
Napoli has confirmed that Osimhen will not be reintegrated into the squad, paving the way for his exit, after Romelu Lukaku was signed as his direct replacement.
