Kwara Man to Die by Hanging for Murder of Woman
An Ilorin High Court has sentenced AbdulRahman Bello to death by hanging for the brutal murder of a woman identified as Hafsoh in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The verdict was delivered on Thursday, July 31, 2025, by Justice S. M. Akanbi, who found Bello guilty of the 2021 killing after a thorough review of the case. The prosecution presented compelling evidence, including confessional statements and eyewitness accounts, which convinced the court that the act was deliberate and premeditated.
