Stakeholders Set to Brainstorm on Opportunities, Challenges in the Railway Industry
The Federal Ministry of Transportation is set to host Railway Stakeholders from across Africa and beyond for the 2nd International Railway Conference and Exhibition in Abuja
The conference, themed “Opportunities and Challenges in Railway Development in Africa; A Call for Investment,” is being organized in collaboration with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and De-Sadel as a major partner.
According to a statement by Mrs. Janet McDickson Noah, Director of Press & Information, the conference will feature a keynote address by Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, who will also declare the event open. Mr. Rowland Ocholi Ataguba, Managing Director of Bethlehem Rail, will deliver the keynote speech.
The Honourable Minister of Transportation, Sen. Said Ahmed Alkali has been instrumental in bringing this transformative event to fruition, which aims to shape the future of transportation in Africa.
The two-day conference is scheduled to take place at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel, on September 15th-16th, 2025
