A 40-year-old landlady, Nafisat Lateef, has been arrested for allegedly poisoning the three-year-old son of her tenant following a minor disagreement in the Odigbo Council Area of Ondo State.

The incident was reported at the Odigbo Police Division by the victim’s mother, Rofiyat, aged 32, both residents of Omifon, Odigbo.

According to police sources, the incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. when the suspect allegedly gave the victim, identified as Abdulrasheed, a liquid substance suspected to be poisonous.
