The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has entered discussions with Herve Renard and Tom Sanfeit regarding the vacant position of head coach for the Super Eagles.
Sources indicate that the NFF has requested the financial terms from both coaches as part of the negotiation process.
Herve Renard, who recently departed from his position as the French national team’s head coach, has a notable track record, including winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Zambia in 2012 and Ivory Coast in 2015. He also led Morocco during the 2018 World Cup.
Tom Sanfeit, who served as the head coach of the Gambian national team from 2018 to 2024, was recognized among the top five coaches in Africa for 2022 and 2023.
The Super Eagles have been without a head coach since Finidi George stepped down in June.
