    Emir Sanusi Condemns Violent Protests in Kano

    On August 7, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II of Kano accused those responsible for the violent protests in Kano State of being recruited by the state’s adversaries.

    Following a tour of the damage inflicted on the Kano State Printing Press and the NCC Digital Centre by rioters, Sanusi condemned their actions, stating that their intent was to devastate the region.

    Sanusi expressed hope that these adversaries would not achieve their destructive goals. He emphasized the need for proactive measures to safeguard Nigerian lives and property, particularly amid such security threats.

    The Emir also called for a thorough investigation by security forces and expressed confidence that Kano State will overcome these difficulties and recover fully.
