    Katsina Government Reviews Curfew

    The Katsina state government has announced an adjustment to its curfew regulations.

    Previously in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., the new curfew will now run from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. throughout the state.

    This change was confirmed in a statement from Abdullahi Aliyu-Yar’adua, the director of press in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.

    The decision came after a review by the acting Governor, Faruk Lawal-Jobe, who expressed satisfaction with recent improvements in the state’s security situation.

    As a result, the curfew has been modified with immediate effect.

    The acting governor also acknowledged the efforts of the security forces and the public’s support during the period of heightened security measures.

    He urged residents to continue adhering to the law while resuming their normal activities.
