National Council of State Pass Vote Of Confidence On Tinubu

The National Council of State has formally supported President Bola Tinubu’s administration with a vote of confidence.

This endorsement came during a meeting at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, which marked President Tinubu’s first Council of State session since taking office.

Former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari were present, alongside former Heads of State Abdulsalami Abubakar and Yakubu Gowon, who participated remotely. Notably, Olusegun Obasanjo was not in attendance.

State Governors Alex Otti of Abia, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa also joined the meeting virtually, while the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, attended in person.
