Kogi Commissioner Debunks Claims of Governor Ododo Attending PDP Meeting

Kogi State Commissioner of Information, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has refuted rumors that Governor Ahmed Ododo participated in a meeting with governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The speculation arose after images circulated on social media, leading to claims that Ododo had switched allegiance from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP.

Fanwo clarified that Governor Ododo had not attended any PDP meeting but was instead present at a wedding in Taraba State.

The event was hosted by the Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, and was attended by various dignitaries, including other state governors.

Fanwo emphasized that the governor’s visit was purely to attend the wedding, dismissing any allegations of political defection.

“The Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, jetted out hours after his Supreme Court victory to attend the wedding of the daughter of the Taraba State Governor, His Excellency Agbu Kefas, in Taraba.

“The wedding was also attended by captains of industry and other governors across the country. Governor Ododo wishes the new couple a happy married life,” he wrote on X.
