Gov. Uba Sani, Dignitaries grace the wedding fatiha of the Son of Environment Minister, in Zaria
The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, joined dignitaries from various walks of life to attend the wedding Fatiha of Adam Abbas Lawal, son of the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, to Halima Salisu Abdulsalam
During the ceremony held weekend, at Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi Jumma’at Masjid, Kofan Gayan Low-Cost, Zaria in Kaduna State, the Governor stood as Wakil (Representative) for the negotiation and payment of dowry
Esteemed dignitaries, including members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), Federal and State lawmakers, Permanent Secretaries, Directors, and CEOs of Federal and State Agencies, captains of Industries, among others were also present at the event, according to a statement by the Ministry’s Director of Press, Ibrahim Haruna
Other notable attendees include the Speaker of the National Assembly, Right Honourable Tajudeen Abbas, and the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Yusuf Liman.
Minister of Environment Balarabe Abbas Lawal, who is the father of the groom, was joined by fellow Ministers, including Information and National Orientation, Muhammad Idris, and Minister of State for Works, Barr. Bello Goronyo.
Also in attendance were Mahmud Adam Kambari, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Environment, alongside his counterparts, Olubunmi Olusanya from Youth Development, and Muhammad Sanusi Danjuma from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), who represented Senator George Akume.
The dignitaries congratulated the Honourable Minister of Environment and the newlyweds, wishing them a blissful, successful, and joyous married life.
