2026 Directorate Promotion: FCSC Invites Shortlisted SGL 16 Officers for Oral Interview
The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has invited shortlisted officers on Salary Grade Level 16 (SGL 16) seeking promotion to Director, Salary Grade Level 17 (SGL 17), for the 2026 Directorate-Level Promotion Oral Interview.
The invitation follows the successful conduct of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the exercise.
According to Circular No. FC.6243/GOV/2026/VOL.II/76 dated 27th October, 2026 and issued by the Office of the Honourable Chairman, the list of shortlisted candidates, identified by their examination numbers, is available on the Commission’s official website, http://www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng, while the timetable for the exercise is attached to the circular.
The oral interview is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 11th November to Friday, 20th November, 2026. Candidates are required to assemble daily at 7:30 a.m. at Eagle Square, in front of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Abuja, for conveyance to the venue in line with the timetable.
The Commission has directed all Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to bring the circular to the attention of all shortlisted candidates under their purview, including officers serving outside headquarters and those posted abroad, to ensure compliance, according to a statement by Ibraheem Zakariyya, Head, Press and Public Relations of the Commission.
