Several protesters participating in the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria movement are feared injured after police forcibly dispersed their demonstration in Abuja on Friday.
The protesters, who had been warned by police against proceeding with their march, faced an aggressive response as police ambushed them near the National Hospital area, using teargas and live ammunition.
Five injured protesters spoke to journalists, condemning the police’s actions.
They reported that they were forced to flee into the bush to avoid the live fire from police.
