Simon Ekpa, leader of the Biafra Government In-Exile, has alleged that there have been multiple assassination attempts against him.
In a statement posted on his official X account on Tuesday, Ekpa asserted that a suicide bomber had been dispatched from Abuja to Finland with the intent of targeting him.
He described this as the fifth attempt on his life amid his ongoing efforts for Biafra’s independence.
Ekpa claimed he was closely monitoring the situation and vowed that the cause of Biafra Independence would prevail.
He warned that authorities are tracking the progress of the alleged suicide bomber from Abuja to Finland, emphasizing his commitment to the Biafra cause despite these threats.
“Sending a suicide bomber from Abuja to Finland is their final measure,” Ekpa stated. “We are watching them every step of the way, and we are prepared for any attempt. This is your fifth attempt, and now you are resorting to terrorism in Europe.”
He concluded with a firm declaration of his continued dedication to Biafra’s independence and a warning to those involved.
