President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
This visit, confirmed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, is aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations, with a focus on critical areas such as oil and gas, and security.
During his stay, President Tinubu will meet with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa in Malabo, where they will engage in discussions on key bilateral issues.
The visit will also see the signing of several agreements to bolster cooperation between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
The statement added that President Tinubu will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, along with other key members of his cabinet, who will participate in the signing of agreements and the review of opportunities to enhance bilateral relations.
