    Ogun State Announces First Batch of Non-Statutory Board Appointments

     

    The Ogun State Government has released the list of members for several non-statutory boards appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun. This announcement, made on Thursday, marks the beginning of a series of appointments.

    Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, shared the news.

    The newly appointed boards include the Ogun Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA), Plantgate Limited, and the Ogun State Alternative Medicine Board (OGAMB).

    For OGWAMA, chaired by Hon. Ajibola Kaka, the board members are Prince Salako Olalekan, Mr. Iroko Ganiu, Hon. Adefisan Kazeem, Aare Fagade Ajibola, Otemolu Sheu Olakunle, Hon. M.A.O. Akovoyon, Hon. Olubode Mankole, Mr. Olukoya Bankole Adelaja, and Mr. Kadejo Akeem Adekunle.

    The OSAMCA board will be led by Sodeinde Kunle and includes Olaonipekun Tajudeen A., Akinoso Olusesi Olayinka, Kuye Rasaq Abiodun, Odeyemi Rafiu, Alh. Agoro Akinlagun, Adeogun Wasiu, Mr. Kazeem Adeyanju, Mrs. Bello Iyabo, Barr. Risikat Sanusi, Elder S.M.A. Akinyemi, and Oyewole Akeem A.

    Plantgate Limited’s board consists of Engr. Mukaila Olugbuyi Bello (chairman), Hon. Nuberu Adesanya Olufemi, and Adeleye Jimo Pelumi.

    The OGAMB board will be chaired by Nurudeen Olaleye Alawoerin, with other members including Chief Mrs. Tuke Omotara, HRH Agasagan Awusinu, Chief Kokumo Abiodun Edubona, Alhaja Iyabo Sonubi (Agbebi), Aroyeun Shuaib Ajisope (Onisegun), Prof. Cyril Gbolagade Omisande, Haruna Ishola Elegbede, Alhaji Tunde Abioye, and representatives from the ministries of Culture and Tourism, Agriculture, Forestry, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Health.

    The statement encouraged the new appointees to excel in their roles, affirming the Ogun State Government’s confidence in their abilities and urging them to significantly improve their respective agencies.
