Russian Airstrikes Claim Five Lives in Ukraine

Russia launched a second night of heavy airstrikes on Ukraine, causing multiple casualties, according to early reports from Ukrainian officials.

The attacks left at least five people dead: two in Kryvyi Rih due to a rocket strike on a hotel, and three in Zaporizhzhya from drone attacks.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia used long-range bombers to fire cruise missiles, including hypersonic Kinzhal (Dagger) missiles.

Analysts indicated that the primary targets were Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Monday’s assault involved 127 missiles and cruise missiles, along with over 100 combat drones, marking the highest level of attacks in over two years of conflict, as noted by the Ukrainian military.
