CDCFIB Denies Ongoing Recruitment into Nigeria Immigration Service

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has refuted claims circulating online regarding recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

The board clarified that these reports are unfounded and should be ignored by the public.

The CDCFIB also cautioned the public to remain vigilant against fraudulent recruitment schemes and unauthorized agents.

Meanwhile, the board confirmed that recruitment for the Federal Fire Service (FFS) is currently underway.

Candidates who have been shortlisted for the next stage of the process will be notified via phone and email, based on the contact information they provided during registration.

    The statement read in part:

“The board wishes to inform the general public that the purported online publications did not emanate from the board and as such, should be disregarded.

“It also wishes to warn the members of the public to be wary of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers,” it said.
