President Bola Tinubu arrived in Beijing, China, on Sunday for a state visit, where he will participate in the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
The summit, themed “Joining Hands to Advance Modernisation and Build High-Level China-Africa Community with Shared Future,” is a significant event bringing together African leaders and Chinese officials.
The Special Assistant on Social Media to the President, Dada Olusegun, revealed Tinubu’s arrival in Beijing in a Sunday post on X.
During his visit, President Tinubu is expected to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and engage in discussions with Chinese business leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
The visit aims to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Nigeria and China, focusing on collaboration in modernization efforts and building a closer China-Africa community.
