The Nigerian government has issued a travel alert for citizens planning to visit the United Kingdom.
In a statement from the spokesperson for the Minister of Interior, Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, the government highlighted a heightened risk of violence and disorder due to recent riots in the UK.
The alert advises Nigerians traveling to the UK to exercise heightened caution and implement safety measures.
These include avoiding political demonstrations, protests, rallies, and large gatherings. Additionally, travelers are urged to steer clear of crowded areas.
