Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan, the reigning 2022 world champion and record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, did not advance to the final of the event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
On Friday, Amusan, who carried Nigeria’s flag at the Games, finished third with a time of 12.55 seconds.
Previously, Amusan had qualified for the semi-finals by recording a time of 12.49 seconds, surpassing Alaysha Johnson of the USA (12.61s) and Janeek Brown (12.84s).
