The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) coordinated their arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, around 7:50 PM.

The returnees arrived on an Al-Buraq airline flight, a Boeing 737-500, with registration number 5A-DMG.

This group included 41 women, 115 men, 1 female child, 6 male children, and 8 infants (4 boys and 4 girls). No medical issues were reported among the returnees.

NEMA’s Lagos Territorial Office, alongside other agencies such as the Nigeria Immigration Service, IOM, and NAPTIP, were present to offer necessary assistance to the returnees.

Following their arrival, the returnees will participate in a reintegration program at the Lagos Transit Camp.

This programme includes basic business skills training, counseling, and medical support before they return to their respective homes.
