Renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has disclosed that his only brother recently donated a kidney to him.
Omori in a post on his official X account revealed that the kidney transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024.
He wrote: “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” Omori wrote.
He also posted images on his Instagram story showing himself in a hospital bed receiving oxygen, with the caption: “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
