    Katsina Government Allocates ₦30 Billion to Combat Insecurity

    The Katsina State government has earmarked over ₦30 billion towards addressing the persistent issue of insecurity within the region. 

    The State Commissioner for Security, Nasiru Danmusa revealed this on Saturday.

    According to Nasiru, the funds is a huge investment is part of Governor Dikko Radda’s broader strategy to enhance security across the state.

    It will be directed towards various initiatives, including bolstering the capabilities of security forces, improving intelligence operations, and supporting community-led efforts aimed at crime prevention.

    The state government said it remains determined to continue prioritizing the safety and well-being of its citizens, with ongoing measures reportedly leading to a decline in banditry and other criminal activities.

    The government reiterated its dedication to eliminating insecurity in Katsina, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in achieving lasting peace.

    “It is the government’s resolve to continue prioritizing the safety and well-being of its citizens. I assure you that no stone will be left unturned in the fight against insecurity in Katsina State until we conquer”, the commissioner said.
